The Mayor of Ludlow Announces 1940s‑Themed Home Front Fundraiser at Ludlow Brewery

Ludlow is set to turn back the clock this November as the Mayor of Ludlow hosts a 1940s‑themed Home Front Fundraiser at Ludlow Brewery.

On Saturday 21st November at 7pm, guests will gather at Ludlow Brewery for an immersive evening inspired by the spirit of the 1940s. The event blends live entertainment, vintage atmosphere, and community goodwill — all in support of the Mayor’s Charities.

The night features performances from Macy‑O and special guest Harry J, bringing authentic period flair to the fundraiser. Attendees will also enjoy wartime‑inspired food from Vaughan’s, adding a nostalgic culinary twist. Fancy dress is optional, inviting guests to embrace the era or simply enjoy the evening as they are.

The Mayor said: “This event is a celebration of Ludlow’s community spirit and a chance to support the charities that make a real difference locally. I’m delighted to welcome everyone to what promises to be a memorable and meaningful evening.”

The Home Front Fundraiser continues Ludlow’s tradition of civic generosity and forms part of the Mayor’s busy autumn schedule of community events, each designed to celebrate Ludlow’s spirit while raising vital funds for local causes.

Tickets are £15 and available from Ludlow Town Council and Ludlow Brewery (cash only).
