Ludlow Town Council is delighted to announce the return of its much‑loved Seniors’ Christmas Party, a festive afternoon celebrating friendship, community spirit, and the joy of the season. This year’s event will take place on Thursday 3 December, from 1:30pm to 4pm, once again kindly hosted by Ludlow College.

Guests will enjoy a warm and welcoming afternoon featuring seasonal refreshments, entertainment, bingo, and a festive raffle, alongside musical performances that bring the magic of Christmas to life. Highlights for 2026 include carols performed by St Laurence’s Primary School and a special appearance from Paul Berick, renditioning a selection of timeless classics and festive favourites that always delight Ludlow’s senior community.

“This event is one of the loveliest traditions in Ludlow’s calendar,” said Cllr Diane Lyle, Mayor of Ludlow. “It’s a chance to celebrate our senior residents, share time together, and enjoy an afternoon filled with warmth and good company. We’re grateful to Ludlow College and to everyone who helps make this event so special.”

Ludlow Town Council welcomes support from local businesses and organisations. Donations for the Christmas raffle can be dropped off at The Guildhall, Mill Street, by Monday 30 November.

The event is free to attend, but booking is essential. It is open to Ludlow residents aged 65 and over, with each person able to claim up to two tickets.

Tickets are available on Monday 2 November from The Guildhall, Mill Street, or by contacting Ludlow Town Council on 01584 871970.
