POST ONE

PART-TIME COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING OFFICER

32 HRS PER WEEK

SCP 13 – 17 £23,023.00 - £24,920.00 pro-rata

30 hours to be worked weeklyoverfour days

Plus 2 accrued hours each week to be worked at busy times / events

SOME EVENING AND WEEKEND WORKING REQUIRED.


The successful candidate for this exciting role will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who will help to improve awareness of the Council's local services and work, organise local events, and help to promote tourism in Ludlow.

POST TWO

PART TIME-TIME FINANCE / ADMIN ASSISTANT

17 HOURS PER WEEK

SCP 5 - 8 - £19,312 - £20,493 pro-rata

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY

The ideal applicant should have experience of managing financial accounts and be competent in raising invoices, processing invoices for payment, bank/petty cash reconciliation, banking income, and experience of year end and the audit processes.  Admin duties will include assisting with preparation of the agenda, minute taking, and admin support for a Committee, and occasional reception / telephone cover.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have good organisational skills, be able to work individually or as part of a team, and be able to use Microsoft Office & accounting software.  Experience of working in local government is desirable.

POST THREE

PART-TIME PUBLIC FACILITIES OPERATIVE

22.5 HOURS PER WEEK

SCP 3-4 £18,887.00- £19,264.00 pro rata

THURSDAY – SATURDAY


The ideal candidate is a welcoming person who is willing to provide relevant tourism and local information to visitors and local people in Ludlow. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness at all Town Council properties and public toilet facilities, and work with other team members in support of local events.  This post involves weekend and evening working.   Ideally, applicants should have a full driving licence and access to suitable transport between sites. Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
