The Mayor's Quiz was Councillor Ginger's final fundraiser event as Mayor

The Mayor's quiz night was a roaring success with 51 people in attendance. A grand total of £455 was raised for South Shropshire Youth Forum. 

The winning team (the reigning champions from last year) reclaimed their winner's cup and won a meal for four at either the Blue Boar or the Chang Thai Restaurant.

A huge thank you to the quiz master Mandy Furniss, Chair of South Shropshire Youth Forum. Councillor Ginger and his daughter Gabriella for hosting the event. Councillor O'Neill for organising the event even from his hospital bed, we wish him a speedy recovery. Another thank you to his wife Mickie, who stood in for him on the night. 

Price's Bakers and Broad Bean for providing the bread and cheese for the event. Castle Bookshop, Velvet Fern, Ludlow Assembly Rooms, Ludlow Brewery and The Feathers for donating an impressive range of raffle prizes. 

This was the last fundraiser for Glenn Ginger in his role as Mayor and was, thanks to the huge efforts of Councillor O’Neill and his wife and Mandy Furniss, a successful event.
