Ludlow Youth Festival 2026 – A Fantastic Community Success
Ludlow Town Council is delighted to announce the success of its Youth Festival, held on Thursday 30 July at Wheeler Road Recreation Area. More than 300 young people, families and residents attended throughout the day, enjoying a wide range of free activities, performances and creative opportunities.
The festival brought together sport, music, art, games and community engagement across multiple themed zones, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Highlights included a Pump Track, Gaming Van, Bouncy Castle, Crafting & Raffle, Teddy Bears’ Picnic, and a variety of refreshment vendors including local favourites Pizza Girls and Noba Kitchen.
The Council extends its sincere thanks to all partners who helped make the event possible. Sunshine Radio kept everyone energised throughout the day, Macy‑O delivered a standout live performance, Ludlow Assembly Rooms and Pentabus supported the event and brought creativity and imagination to the festival’s Creative Zone. Their contributions, along with the huge support of Future Sound, were instrumental in shaping a successful and memorable event.
Ludlow Town Council also wishes to thank the emergency services, volunteers, staff and community organisations, including Ludlow Air Cadets and Ludlow Rotary Club, who dedicated their time and expertise to support the festival.
The Town Clerk commented “We are thrilled with the response to Ludlow’s Youth Festival. Seeing over 300 attendees enjoying such a wide range of activities shows just how much potential there is for youth‑focused events in our town. This festival was built on partnership, creativity and community spirit, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed. As we continue looking after Ludlow’s future, we hope this becomes a regular event that grows year by year and gives our young people a space to shine.”
To help shape future youth events in Ludlow, the Council is inviting attendees to share their thoughts and experiences through a feedback survey here.
The Council is committed to celebrating and supporting young people in Ludlow and hopes that—following the success of this year’s festival—the Youth Festival will become a regular feature in the town’s event calendar.
