CONSULTATION TEEN SHELTER AT WHEELER ROAD RECREATION AREA
Ludlow Town Council would like members of the public, and local residents, to have their say over the installation of a new teen shelter at Wheeler Road recreation area.
Up until a couple of years ago there was a teen shelter in the area, however, due to maintenance issues the shelter was removed.
The Council have been approached by Ludlow Youth Partnership asking for a shelter to be reinstated for the young people using the site.
Ludlow Town Council are considering their request and as part of this consideration feedback is being sought from local residents, users of the site and the local policing team.
Mayor of Ludlow, Cllr Glenn Ginger says “I would like to encourage anyone who has any thoughts on this shelter to contact us with their ideas. As a Council we are here to represent the whole of Ludlow and it is important that residents get in touch to be involved in development of their local areas.”
Any queries should be sent to Kate Adams via email on kate.adams@ludlow.gov.uk or by calling 01584 871970. All comments should be returned by 5pm on Friday 8th July 2022.
Local residents living along the site perimeter will receive a questionnaire through their door.
