Services Committee
Services Committee consists of ten councillors. The Committee remit is as follows:
- All matters relating to the day to day operation of all Council services including the market, open spaces, children’s play areas, town centre, street lighting and street furniture and the cemeteries as well as any other facilities or amenities providing any decisions taken are in accordance with established Council policies.
- Where a response may involve a change in Council policy the concurrence of the Policy and Finance Committee shall first be sought.
- Presenting annual estimates of expenditure in respect of its responsibilities to Policy and Finance Committee
